Choppy trading continued over the last month, as volumes remained low and the fall-out from recent events continued, i.e. low lake levels on top of a marked and unexpected retraction in gas supplies. The gas supply situation weighs heavily on the market, as we look ahead to next winter and the ever-present threat of low inflows that may require a lot of gas-fired generation.
