Electricity Contract Index April 2023, Issue 169
This month the index was up 0.7% to 15.4 c/kWh, so once again remained almost unchanged.
There was one relatively large CFD transacted with a term of 16 years, which is not included in the index as it does not have to have its price disclosed. In fact, any contract with a duration of 10 or more years must be disclosed, but its price does not have to be disclosed.
Otherwise, it was a relatively quiet month with only 298 GWh of contracts included in the index.
